Mark Pudner

Senior Environmental Technologist

Mark is responsible for the day-to-day running of the stack emissions monitoring department, which monitors a wide range of pollutants from various processes throughout the glass industry.

The department gained UKAS accreditation for a range of stack testing procedures and more recently accreditation to the Environment Agency Monitoring Certification Scheme (MCERTS).

Due to Mark’s significant experience and qualifications across environmental fields he also often works on larger scale research and development projects on behalf of academic, governmental and commercial clients; notable projects include the WRAP commissioned studies into recovered container glass quality and the creation of a good practice guide for the supply of cullet to flat glass manufacturers, the Biffa Award Scheme funded Glass Mass Balance Study.

Qualifications:

  • MCERTS Level 2 with technical endorsements – TE1, TE2, TE3 and TE4
  • MSc Environmental Pollution Control
  • BSc (hons) Geology
