Will has over 6 years of experience working as a glass technician and focuses on pharmacopoeia and the suitability of glass products for the pharmaceutical industry. Will has been involved in all areas of planning and managing large comprehensive delamination studies. These studies are invaluable for customers as it allows them to meet market deadlines and save millions in product recalls.
Will started at Glass Technology Services as an apprentice and is currently working towards a BSc in Chemistry. He also has a higher diploma in Natural sciences with a specific focus on organic and inorganic chemistry.
Working within the Chemistry department, Will performs, develops, and augments a range of analytical and wet chemistry techniques, including atomic absorption analysis, ICP-OES analysis, Scanning Electron Microscopy, BSEN 1423-24, USP & EP Pharmacopeias and ISO 719 and 720. Will also helps to deliver bespoke methods for testing the suitability of pharmaceutical glass products.
